The Exponential Ventures community is championing the “Future Church Initiative” to find, support and learn from innovative leaders, models and projects that will shape the future of the post-COVID church and ultimately church planting models and approaches.

We are not looking for a silver bullet, one size fits all approach. Instead, we believe there are many expressions of the local church, and many passion-driven practices that will shape the future. Our dream is to discover new and effective ways our churches are impacting our world with the Gospel, provide a platform to share these learnings, and unleash a wave of innovation for the benefit of advancing the mission of God. Diversity across generational, gender, ethnic and socioeconomic barriers is a priority and value across all projects!

Thank you for your interest in the Future Church Initiative. At this time, we are only accepting applications for projects that have moved into the the implementation phase and have some initial results. As your project moves into the implementation phase, please consider applying at that time!

As you work through the application, don't read too much into the questions that sound like they are for mature organizations. We value early stage ventures and cause based initiatives. You will not be penalized for being an early stage venture!!! We're looking at your potential for influencing the future church.

Purpose of the Project/Initiative*

Big Idea and Overview*
In one paragraph, give a simple description of your approach including a brief timeline of any key milestones completed so far.

Customer / Mission Field Context*
Give a brief description of the primary customer you are reaching/serving and the "mission field" or "context" you are working within
Goals and Desired Outcomes*
Identify 3 to 5 specific goals/outcomes you are targeting in this initiative
Results and Impact*
Provide a list of your most significant, measurable results so far to date

Passion*
In less than 500 words, share your heart and passion for why this initiative is important to you and to advancing the Kingdom of God. This is also the place to give us insights into the "backstory" driving the public-facing story
Resourcing*
Provide a brief explanation of any funding you have and your budget, if applicable. Also include a brief description of how you are using volunteers and paid staff, if applicable.
